He went to a general high school due to his parents' opposition to going to art high school. The more I did, the stronger my desire for a dream became. Eventually, he was accepted into the Department of Theater and Film, and after entering college, he began modeling for magazines by publishing documents here and there.
"I went to college in Busan and I was a model back and forth to Seoul. But it was so far away that I had to put a lot of thought into going once. It was hard. So I took a leave of absence in the third grade and came to Seoul. I wanted to do everything on my own because my parents were worried about living apart and reassured me that it was okay. I earned pocket money by working part-time, and with that money, I enrolled in an acting academy."
He took a photo shoot to strengthen his basic skills as an actor, such as facial expressions and poses, but decided not to do it anymore because he thought his activities would be limited to models. The pictorial he shot in the past became a hot topic after it was released online. "I think it's burdensome to have a sexy image, but many people say it's not like that when they meet me. If you have a sexy image, I think it's better as an actor. I want to show you various charms in the future.”

Lee Cheon-seul admitted to dating comedian Yang Sang-guk on November 1 last year. When asked who male actor he would like to meet in his opposite role, he picked Cho Seung-woo without hesitation. "Cho Seung-woo was really cool while watching 'God's Gift'.
